McCain Pinion McCain is a trio of talented young musicians from the North Mississippi area who are currently playing the best Folk-Rock music around. Their unique sound can swing to either end of the Folk-Rock spectrum, including a blend of acoustic and electric, hot instrumentals and melodic singers. Their set list includes both original material and covers by some of the bands influences such as The Beatles, Van Morrison, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, etc. 

Donovan McCain is the lead singer and main songwriter, guitarist, and mandolin player.   He has been performing on stages since the age of twelve and has played along side the likes of Marty Stewart, the Del McCoury Band, and Bobby Whitlock. In 2004 he traveled to Ireland where he appeared on the Dublin Radio program, Sin É and the Country Céií radio show hosted by the grand-father of Irish folk music, Tommy Sands, also appearing

 

Jesse Pinion is the group’s lead guitarist, and is an incredible
musician who also has been performing on live stages and radio since an early age. His skill on the guitar is rivaled by few, blending many influences into his own style, having studied and performed with other guitarists such as Daniel Karlish. 

 

Conar McCain is the group’s bass guitarist, a phenomenal musician and a very charismatic figure on stage. Conar sings harmony and has a very melodic bass style similar to his idol, Paul McCartney; he is a favorite of audiences where ever the band performs.
